Dr. Linda Payne
My name is Linda Payne. I am a Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor, and an Ordained Minister of the Gospel. I graduated with my Doctorate from Ministry International Institute in Powell, Tn., and National Christian Counseling in Sarasota, Fla.
As a Christian Counselor, I believe that many problems can be spiritual in nature, resulting from either not understanding biblical truth or from sinful behavior. I also recognize that personal problems can arise because of physical, social-environmental influences and psychological pressures.
I believe counseling should involve praying about the client’s difficulties and looking to the authority of the bible for guidance, thus building a dependency on God. There is forgiveness for our past, strength for the present, and hope for our future when we trust God for our daily needs and healing for our emotional wounds.
My goal for my clients is to pray for them and trust God to heal and deliver them from their bondages. I will not force religion, but it is the foundation of which I counsel.
